Maharshi Nagarjun was a great ancient scholar in the field of Indian chemistry and chemical science. His contribution inspires chemistry even in the modern era.

Contributions of Maharishi Nagarjuna:

1. Contribution to Chemistry:

Maharshi Nagarjun presented his important works and theories in the field of chemistry. Unique knowledge about acids, metals, and substances is found in his texts.

2. Contribution to Ayurved:

Nagarjun also gave his teachings in the field of Ayurved and presented knowledge regarding medicines.

Works of Maharishi Nagarjuna:

1. "Rasaratnakara" (text):

Nagarjun's unique treatise is "Rasaratnakar", in which he discusses in detail, acids, metals, and chemical processes.

Some verses from Nagarjun's book and their meanings:

Verse:

यथा कुंजरप्रस्तारे सौवर्चं विद्युतो यथा।

तथा रसायनादौ तु सिद्धिः कार्या यथाविधि॥

Meaning:

“Just as electricity is produced from a spot of water on an elephant's forehead, or as light is produced from a crystal, similarly, success in chemical processes must be achieved methodically.”

This verse uses similes (metaphors) to convey the idea that success in chemical processes is achieved through careful and proper procedures, similar to the manifestation of electricity or light.

Verse:

सर्वं द्रव्यं यथा दोषैः संस्कार्यं रसरूपता।

तथा तत्त्वे स्वकर्माणि संस्कुर्वीतादौ पुरुषः॥

Meaning:

“Just as all substances are purified by removing impurities, similarly, one must purify oneself to purify one's actions.”

This verse draws an equation between the process of purification of substances in chemistry and the improvement of their functions in life, highlighting the importance of purification of the soul and taking into account the greatness of inner purification in the prejudice of spiritual and alchemical goals.

2. Contribution to modern chemistry:

Maharshi Nagarjun's theories have also inspired modern chemistry. The knowledge of chemical processes, substances, and treatment methods in his texts has also given new directions to modern chemistry.

3. Modern Inter-view in Chemistry:

Maharshi Nagarjun's principles improved chemistry, and his principles inspire scientists even in the modern era. His chemical texts have given new dimensions to modern chemistry and today various chemical studies and research are being done based on his principles.

Maharshi Nagarjun's contribution to chemistry and science is extremely important and his texts have enriched, as well as shown new directions to modern chemistry.

Maharshi Nagarjun’s Contribution to Ayurveda:

Maharshi Nagarjun was a great yogi and physician in the field of Ayurved, whose contribution to Ayurvedic medicine is unique. His texts have a unique coordination of grammar, medicine, and principles due to which his contribution is important in medical science even today.

Maharshi Nagarjun's Ayurvedic theory has shown new directions to modern Ayurved. His approach has presented some different ways to live a worthy and aesthetic life and his ideas also have an important place in modern Ayurved.

Maharshi Nagarjun's theory of Ayurved placed medical science in a new visible context, and his texts continue to inspire and enlighten scientists today.

Maharshi Nagarjun has done many miraculous scientific experiments in chemistry. He could change the properties of the elements at that time. And he is the first scientist to give the world the methods of making metal alloys. With his Ayurvedic and chemical knowledge, he has made a very important contribution in the field of medical science through medicines. He also knew the method of gold making. Our heartfelt tribute to such a great scientist and physician, Maharshi Nagarjun.
